This luggage is inspired by our mother, a mother of three, a sister, an aunt, and an entrepreneur, shes the heart and soul of a superwoman.
As the Entrepreneur she is, she spent most of her time doing business travelling either by flight or private transport, however she always encountered challenges with some airports regarding her luggage, either it was left at the previous airport or even worse her bag was tempered with which led to her belongings being stolen.
We were then curious on why she always experienced these problems with airports by conducting short surveys with airline travellers and at least 65% of airline travellers had similar problems which were:
-Luggage Infiltration
-Lost Luggage
-Paying Overweight Fines.
Furthermore according to a report by Airport South Africa in 2018, atleast 1000 bags get lost across airports nationally.
This was when Smartie Luggage was born. A luggage made for travellers, a luggage that prioritizes safety. Smartie Luggage is an Internet of Things Smart Luggage that enhances luggage security and travel experience.
